ESP®* detects wheel slip, for instance when you turn the steering wheel sharply and/or the road is slippery, it automatically affects control over the engine torque and brakes to suppress the wheel slip and helps you stay in directional control.

However, its effectiveness depends on driving conditions and the state of the road surface. If the tyres exceed their grip limit and the wheels start to spin or skid, it may not be fully effective.
Suzuki's TECT (Total Effective Control Technology) body helps protect the cabin in the event of a collision by efficiently absorbing and dispersing energy.
Hill hold control is designed to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards when you restart the car on a slope. It engages the brakes for up to two seconds after you remove pressure from the brake pedal to depress the accelerator.
